Terms of Service

1. The service

BucketStats is software for running basketball leagues: schedules, rosters, live scoring, box scores, standings and public league pages. Organizers create and run leagues. Team managers run teams inside a league. Anyone can read public league pages.

We may improve, change or remove features. When a change affects something you pay for, we will tell you first.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account. Players under 18 can be added to a roster by an adult organizer or manager, who confirms they have the right to do so (see 5).
• Tell us right away at mail@bucketstats.com if you think your account was used without your permission.

3. Leagues, teams and your content

You keep ownership of what you add: league and team names, logos, photos, rosters, scores and news. You give BucketStats permission to store, display and process that content to run the service, including showing it on public league pages and in graphics you create.

You promise you have the right to share what you upload. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of scores and for fair use of their league. Scoring changes after a game is final are recorded in an audit log.

If you believe content on BucketStats infringes your rights, write to mail@bucketstats.com with what it is, where it is, and why. We will review it promptly and remove it where appropriate.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use BucketStats to break the law, harass or endanger anyone, upload content you have no right to share, collect other people’s data without permission, try to break or overload the service, or reach accounts that are not yours. You may not use the service if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit it, or in a country where it is unlawful. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Players and children

Many players are minors. Player profiles are private by default and are shown publicly only when the organizer or manager chooses to make them public. By adding a minor, you confirm you are their parent or guardian, or that you have the verifiable permission of their parent or guardian, and that you will not make a profile public or add a photo without it. We never show a minor’s contact details, and a profile can be hidden or removed on request. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Plans, payments, renewal and cancellation

• Running a league is free for organizers. Teams can subscribe to paid plans (Standard and Pro), billed monthly or yearly. Optional League Pro features for organizers may be offered separately.
• Card payments in US dollars are handled by our payment partner Creem, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and collects any sales tax or VAT. Philippine payments in pesos are handled by PayMongo. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, with no fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices can change for future periods. We will give notice before a change reaches you, and you can cancel before it applies.
• Refunds follow the policy of the payment partner that sold you the plan, and any right to a refund or withdrawal that the law of your country gives you. If something went wrong, write to mail@bucketstats.com and we will help.
• If a payment fails or a subscription ends, paid features turn off. Your data is kept, and free features keep working.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using BucketStats at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Data that is part of an official league record, such as a final score, may be kept in anonymized form so a league’s history stays correct.

8. Availability and accuracy

We work hard to keep BucketStats running and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. Check important results and schedules yourself.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, MANCreatives is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing removes the consumer rights you have under the law of your country.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Before any formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. Continuing to use BucketStats after a change means you accept it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
